Our school community ushered in the Year of the Rooster with festive music, brightly-coloured decorations and exciting performances by students and staff.

The Year 1-4 and Year 6 classes kicked off the celebrations by spring-cleaning their homerooms. The students then participated in a lantern-making competition and homeroom decoration competitions, judged by a panel comprising teachers as well as staff from departments like Human Resource and Finance.

The Year 1-4 celebration at the Albert Hong Hall featured a fun quiz, new year greetings from the teachers, an a cappella performance, and the much-anticipated performance by the RI Chinese Orchestra. Our Principal, Mr Chan, even sang a few festive tunes! Over at the Multi-Purpose Hall at Year 5-6, we watched performances by our very own Raffles Lion Dance, the Year 5-6 Chinese Orchestra and the Chinese Language Drama & Cultural Society.

The Lunar New Year festivities have begun!
