Chinese New Year 2019
We ushered in the Year of the Pig with the school population spring cleaning and decorating the classrooms, before enjoying a ‘reunion breakfast’ with classmates and teachers.
The Year 1-4 students gathered in the Albert Hong Hall while the Year 5-6 students congregated in the Multi-Purpose Hall for the concert segment. Prizes were awarded to the classes with the best-decorated classrooms. Students and staff also enjoyed lion dance performances, a fun quiz on new year traditions, a crosstalk by the Chinese Cultural Club (Year 1-4), and the much-anticipated performances by the RI and RI Year 5-6 Chinese Orchestras.
