Year 5 Rafflesian Deanna See (17S03C) has emerged as one of the winners of the Breakthrough Junior Challenge, which required participants to explain a difficult concept in mathematics, life sciences or physics with an original video. In her video, Deanna demystifies the complex topic of antibiotic resistance using markers, stop motion techniques and a dash of creativity. 


Deanna was awarded a scholarship funded by Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, as well as prize money that will be contributed to RI's Scholarship Fund and RGS' science laboratories.
