National Kidney Foundation Singapore's Sit-A-Thon 2019

On 24 and 25 August, our Badminton and Track & Field CCA teachers and students participated in National Kidney Foundation (NKF) Singapore's Sit-A-Thon at Our Tampines Hub. This event aims to raise awareness on kidney health and kidney failure. Participants at the event experienced what it was like to be confined to a chair for four hours, three times a week, and participated in meaningful fitness and educational activities. This event was held in conjunction with NKF's 50th anniversary.

Our teachers and students volunteered at the information, registration and redemption booths, and facilitated activities at various sections with NKF staff. The event was graced by Minister for Education, Ong Ye Kung.
