Pocket Projects Co-founder and The Projector Founder Advocates Giving Old Landmarks New Lease of Life
Karen Tan (RJC '99) is the co-founder of Pocket Projects, a company that is passionate about breathing life into derelict buildings by creating sustainable community-driven spaces, or what she calls “adaptive reuse”. They're behind 24A Shophouse Series, the Projector and a heritage row of 1940s shophouses in a former watering hole in central Kuala Lumpur.
