On 13 February the RI staff community gathered in the Shaw Foundation Dining Hall for the annual Loh Hei. This Chinese New Year tradition involves tossing a fish and shredded vegetable salad to welcome an auspicious year.





The guest of honour was RI Board of Governors Chairman Mr Choo Chiau Beng. Principal Mr Frederick Yeo led the staff in preparing the dish, adding ingredients in a specific order while reciting wishes of luck and prosperity. When the tossing began, everyone exchanged blessings amidst laughter, before settling down to enjoy the food.
