Lower Secondary Music

About the Programme
Our music curriculum is structured around three key areas:
Listening: We guide our students to develop critical listening skills and appreciate a wide range of musical genres and styles from diverse cultures and traditions.
Performance: Our students build foundational instrumental and ensemble-playing skills, fostering collaboration and musical expression.
Composition: We encourage our students to explore creative approaches to music arrangement and literacy, empowering them to create their own musical works.
Through thoughtfully designed modules, our students gain confidence, creativity, and cultural awareness. The curriculum emphasises hands-on learning, encouraging our students to actively engage with music and connect it to their personal and intellectual growth.
