Our Social Studies programme invites wonder and fosters a deep understanding of Singapore society by connecting students to real-world issues, ranging from historical events and national identity to global challenges and active citizenship.
Our students explore how societies function and how people interact, engaging with content that is relevant, complex and sometimes controversial. As they examine current topics, reflect on the past and consider the future, they learn to appreciate the intricacies of social, economic and political systems.
Through this process, they develop critical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills that help them engage with the world more thoughtfully. Ultimately, our programme empowers students to become responsible citizens who act with purpose, contribute meaningfully to society and navigate a diverse and interconnected world.
