Bicultural Studies Programme (China)
Through immersive activities and experiences, students explore international issues involving China, the West and Southeast Asia from a Singaporean perspective.

About the Programme
Our Bicultural Studies Programme (China) offers students in Years 3 and 4 a nuanced understanding of China’s history, politics, economy and culture, as well as its role in regional and global affairs. Through immersive activities and experiences, students explore international issues involving China, the West and Southeast Asia from a Singaporean perspective.
Local activities such as the Peck San Theng Docent Programme foster an appreciation for Chinese heritage, while learning journeys to organisations deepen students’ awareness of Singapore’s connections with China. Overseas immersions to Beijing and Chengdu allow students to experience Chinese society firsthand, refine their language skills and build lasting international friendships.
By broadening horizons and facilitating cross-cultural understanding, our programme equips students with the knowledge, empathy and adaptability to transcend borders and engage meaningfully with others.
