About the Programme
The RI-AEP spans Year 1 to Year 4 and follows a spiraling curriculum, where key artistic concepts are introduced, reinforced, and deepened across four years. Students develop a strong foundation in technical skill and conceptual thinking, preparing them for higher-level artistic pursuits and future creative industries.
Art and Me: Exploring identity, self-expression, and personal narratives through art.
Art and the Community: Engaging with social themes, fostering empathy, and creating works that enrich the lives of others.
Art and the World: Connecting with global and contemporary artistic practices, analyzing how art reflects and shapes society.
Students in our programme work with a wide range of traditional and contemporary media, developing technical skills and innovative approaches to their craft. They are assessed across five core areas:
Visual Analysis: Developing critical understanding of visual elements and artistic intent.
Exploration of Visuals and Ideas: Expanding creative inquiry through research and experimentation.
Creative Synthesis: Integrating diverse techniques and concepts to produce original works
Artistic Perception and Visual Communication: Refining the ability to convey meaning and engage audiences.
Personal Interpretation: Infusing artworks with individuality, voice, and conceptual depth.
With a rigorous curriculum that emphasises real-world applications, our programme aims to develop students who are not only skilled artists, but also compassionate individuals dedicated to making a meaningful impact. We inspire our students to draw on their unique talents to pioneer creative solutions for a flourishing human and natural world.
