Our Chemistry Programme explores the building blocks of our world — how matter is structured, how it transforms, and what happens at the atomic level. Building from an understanding of the laws of physics, chemistry reveals insights into everything from biological reactions to environmental systems.
Students develop conceptual understanding by connecting macroscopic observations with submicroscopic interactions and symbolic representations. Alongside core content, they engage in investigation, modelling and problem-solving as they explore how chemical principles apply to real-world domains such as pollution, energy use and material science.
The study of Chemistry invites our students to approach the world with a sense of wonder and purpose, harnessing their unique gifts and scientific insight to contribute to a thriving human and natural world.
