Peer Helpers Programme

Offered by the counselling team at Raffles Guidance Centre, the Peer Helpers Programme (PHP) aims to train peer helpers to serve their school community by being able to listen to their friends’ difficulties, to refer their friends to help and to provide general peer support to their schoolmates.

After-Hours Helplines
The school recognises that concerns about a child’s well-being may arise outside of school hours. In situations that are urgent or require immediate support, families and students are encouraged to seek timely help from emergency services or established crisis hotlines. These services are available round-the-clock and are staffed by trained professionals who can provide confidential support, guidance, and care. For ease of reference, the following hotlines are shared with our staff and students:
National Mindline: 1771 (24 hours) / 6669 1771 (WhatsApp)
Samaritans of Singapore (SOS): 1767 (24 hours) / 9151 1767 (CareText via WhatsApp)
Singapore Association for Mental Health (SAMH): 1800 283 7019 (0900 - 1600h, weekdays)
Police Emergencies: 999 / 70999 (SMS)
SCDF Ambulance and Fire Service: 995
Non-Emergency Ambulance Service: 1777
