The Appeal Exercise is for students who have not been posted to Raffles Institution (RI) Arts stream or Science stream under the Joint Admissions Exercise (JAE).
Important Note
Applicant's net L1R5 score must meet RI’s net cut-off points for AY2026.
- Arts stream: 5
- Science stream: 3
Applicants who have been allocated to their posted school via the Direct School Admission for Junior Colleges (DSA-JC) Exercise are NOT eligible to participate in the JAE Appeal Exercise.
Hardcopy submissions and submissions via email will not be accepted. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.
Applications will be considered based on merit and availability of vacancies.

Pending the outcome of your appeal, applicants are still required to report to their Posted School on Reporting Day. Please check the posted school’s website for information on reporting procedures. Alternatively, please contact the posted school or refer to the MOE website HERE for more information.
All applicants will be informed of the outcome of their applications via email by 6 February 2026 (Fri) at 6.00pm. Please ensure that the email address provided in your application is accurate and regularly monitored.
The school's decision regarding appeal outcomes is final. We are unable to discuss or disclose the reasons for non-selection.
Successful applicants will receive detailed instructions regarding their transfer to Raffles Institution, including information about registration procedures and Orientation.
