The Raffles Institution Boys’ Brigade (BB) Programme seeks to develop boys holistically. This is accomplished through badge work consisting of Adventure, First Aid, Community Service, Drill, Piper/Drummer, Character Education and Leadership, to name a few. In addition, there are various opportunities to represent the school in Boys’ Brigade Blaze, Cluster Drill Competition, Character Quest and Singapore-South East Asia Pipes and Drums Championships. The Y5-6 Boys’ Brigade Programme is a continuation of the programmes, and these young adults play the role of mentors and cadet officers for the younger Boys. The programme  culminates in the prestigious President’s Award for eligible students in Year 6.

Character Quest

Character Quest is a Boys’ Brigade annual national competition where the Boys are tested on their knowledge of bible stories and values. Through a series of challenges and quizzes, the Boys learnt about the story of Joseph and the importance of trusting in the Lord, and put these skills and values to the test through the activities they completed and the decisions they made in the competition, thus clinching the Gold Honour Roll in 2022!

Community Service

The 60th BB Company contributes to the community through various student-initiated projects and the delivery of food hampers. These projects nurture members to lead and serve in the community.
