Team sport with individual element
Hills, terrain, outdoors, challenge

To many people, Cross Country is just a sport that involves a lot of running. To the Cross Country team, it is a lifestyle. It requires discipline, focus, and a never giving up attitude that enables the runners to push themselves and their teammates. It is a team sport that requires incredible individual efforts, where runners are always on the never-ending pursuit of a Personal Best. The team is a tightly-knit family of runners who are bound by sweat, tears and cheers.

Cross Country is a beautiful sport where you get to experience nature close up, smell the outdoors and feel your body adapt to the environment. Yet, Cross Country is not a sport for everyone—it beckons those who are unafraid to venture beyond their comfort zones and embrace the pain that accompanies the pursuit of greatness. The team's training comprises three weekly sessions, where they engage in specialized workouts at the school track or venture to external venues such as MacRitchie Reservoir and Bedok Reservoir for invigorating long-distance runs. This dedicated group firmly believes that consistent training is the cornerstone of success in this demanding discipline, with each session serving as an opportunity to give their utmost effort.

While Cross Country demands resilience, discipline, and a tenacious mindset, the rewards are abundant. The Cross Country team embodies unity, support, and camaraderie, bolstering one another at every step, conquering hills together, and celebrating each finish line reached. The team loves Cross Country, because it is a sport where we can improve ourselves, have fun with our team, and feel the thrill of Cross Country running.
