The Raffles Institution Science and Astronomy Club (RISAC) seeks to excite and engage its members in the various domains of Science beyond the formal curriculum. Members of RISAC are passionate and motivated in their pursuit of Science and Technology. Apart from providing a platform for members to learn from each other and discuss interdisciplinary Science topics with greater depth, the Club aims to provide opportunities for members to compete in Science competitions. Like-minded members gather every Friday to passionately pursue their interest in Science, engaging in hands-on experiments, demonstrations and lectures. In the evening of the fourth Friday of every month, members bond over astronomy, astrophysics, and navigating the night skies. The Club also actively promotes the love of Science in our school community through events such as the Inter-House Science Challenge.
