Track & Field

  •
Athletics is commonly known as the ‘Mother of All Sports' because the simplicity of the events (running, jumping, throwing) hearkens back to the beginning of Mankind. The sport is also one of the most keenly contested in the world - at the Olympics Games, the winner of the 100m final will be named 'The Fastest Man / Woman' on earth. The Track & Field Overall Champion title remains the biggest and most challenging National Inter-School Championship title in the local school sports scene. Over a period of three weeks every April, athletes from various schools nationwide come together to compete in running, jumping and throwing events. At the end of the competition, the school that accumulates the most number of points wins the Overall Title and the Challenge Trophy. Our team has always posted commendable showings in the competitions.
