Raffles Institution

Cricket

  •
Cricket was one of the first sports to be played at Raffles Institution. It was discontinued as a sport by the School Sports Council in the late 1960s, but was re-introduced in 1993 by Mr Eugene Wijeysingha, then-Headmaster of RI. However, it was only accorded the status of a core CCA by the School Sports Council in 1998. Today, the sport has a wide following within the school, and is immensely popular among the students.
