Year 1 Direct School Admission

 

The DSA-Sec exercise is an initiative by the Ministry of Education (MOE) that provides a pathway for students to gain admission to secondary schools based on their interests, aptitude and potential, beyond their performance at the Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE). 

1. Students who are admitted to a secondary school through the DSA-Sec exercise must note the following commitments: 
   • They cannot submit school choices during the Secondary 1 (S1) posting process. 
   • They are not allowed to transfer to another school and are expected to honour their commitment to the DSA-Sec school for the duration of the programme they were admitted to.
