The Year 5-6 school population celebrated Singapore’s 52nd birthday in a novel way this year. Although 7 August began with the traditional march-in and flag-raising ceremony, staff and students soon trooped off to the Singapore Discovery Centre for a day of fun and learning. Participants watched local films and tried their hands at three different Amazing Race courses, which were organised by teachers from the NE Committee. The day ended with the rousing community singing finale. 

On 8 August, the Year 1-4 Uniformed Groups kicked off the ceremony with a march past, accompanied by music by the RI Military Band. Following this, everyone made their way to the Hall for the National Day Poster judging competition and community singing.
