In keeping with the theme Together We Keep Singapore Strong, the Year 1 – 4 students marked the anniversary of Singapore’s fall to the Japanese with a ceremony by our uniformed groups and the laying of flowers in front of our War Memorial Plaque. The plaque is dedicated to members of the RI community, who fell while defending Singapore during World War II.

We Are Total Defence encompasses six key pillars – military, civil, economic, social, psychological and digital defence – and focuses on the need for each Singaporean to play his or her part to keep the country safe. This year, in view of the COVID-19 situation, the ceremony was streamed live into the classrooms to avoid mass gatherings.
