2020 Science and Astronomy Club




Passionate about science? Wanted to try some experiments you can’t do at home? Or perhaps you want to learn science in a fun way? If so, RISAC is the club for you! RISAC is the CCA where science enthusiasts congregate to deepen their understanding of Chemistry, Biology, Physics and Astronomy!

The club gathers on Friday afternoons to conduct hands on experiments or attend lectures by seniors on advanced topics of Science. Astronomy sessions are held on Friday evenings, where members get the chance to stargaze and discuss eye-opening topics such as astrophysics and astrobiology. RISAC also organises annual club camps during the holidays for members to bond over the sciences they all enjoy.

To reach out to the school and community, RISAC supports a wide range of Science-related activities which include:
* Inter-House Science Competition
* Raffles Science Olympiad (RSO)
* Raffles Institution Open House
* Training programme for Astrochallenge
* Training programme for National Science Challenge
* Training programme for Singapore Astronomy Olympiad


Training Schedule

Every 1st/2nd/3rd/5th Friday
(2.00pm to 3.30pm)

Every 4th Friday
(6.30pm to 9.30pm)
