#RafflesUnite: Coming Together as One Rafflesian Community

It has been a difficult time for one of our Year 1 students and his family since the day he was confirmed to have tested positive for COVID-19. Teachers, staff and fellow students have been rallying together in support for the affected student and his family. Since then, well wishes have been pouring in for the boy, his family and classmates. Friends from Raffles Girls School and Victoria Junior College have come personally to deliver handwritten notes.

Victoria JC sent us their Nil Sine Labear together with notes of encouragement.

In the spirit of giving back, our Year 1-4 students came together and packed special Gryphon Care Boxes in appreciation for our everyday heroes working at the frontlines. Comprising various snacks and handwritten notes of appreciation, these boxes of goodies were delivered to various organisations such as Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH), KK Women's and Children's Hospital (KKH), the National Centre for Infectious Diseases, Immigration & Checkpoints Authority, staff at Changi Airport and those working at MRT stations and bus interchanges. We were able to do this as One Rafflesian Community as the Raffles Parents' Association also lent their support by volunteering to deliver the boxes.

To all our heroes, we thank you for your service and all the sacrifices you've made to keep Singapore safe. We hope that our small gesture can lift your spirits. Keep going!
