More than 100 RI students from all levels supported the Community Chest by taking part in its Heartstrings Walk 2016, which was held at Marina Bay on 31 July. This all-inclusive activity saw Rafflesians and other members of our community strolling through the 4.2km Waterfront Trail at Marina Bay, enjoying the view of the Singapore skyline.


Meanwhile, a team of incredibly athletic Rafflesians comprising Jeremy Yeo, Ryton Teo, Selvageethan Nedunchezian and Vignesh Ravi Baskar took part in the Community Chest Heartstrings Vertical Marathon. This is a competitive event where teams race to scale 57 storeys of the iconic Marina Bay Sands. Team Raffles came in 2nd with a team time 31:58, and Jeremy Yeo came in Individual 1st with a time of 7:24. Congratulations!
