Total Defence Day 2019

Our school commemorated Total Defence Day on 15 February. Held to remember the day Singapore fell to the Japanese in WWII, Total Defence Day is a solemn reminder of the price of peace and our commitment to keep our nation safe, secure and sovereign, especially as new threats emerge in the digital realm.

The Year 1-4 Uniformed Groups held a solemn ceremony to remember the Rafflesians who fell while defending our country.

The Year 5 students learn more about the six pillars of Total Defence at the Singapore Discovery Centre, while the Year 6 cohort attended a sharing session on digital defence by RI alumni from the RSAF, LTC Ronald Tong and CPT Matthias Chia.

The first three photographs were taken by the Raffles Photography and Art Club
