Raffles Science Symposium 2018, held on 31 January, showcased 119 research projects by 239 students from Year 3 to 6 and their Year 3 and 4 peers from Raffles Girls' School. The project topics spanned the Natural as well as Mental Health Sciences.

The Keynote Lecture was delivered by alumna Dr Rosemary Tan, who shared lessons she had learnt through her journey as a scientist and an entrepreneur.

The students also found out more about mental health through presentations by Mr Vijay Pratap Rai of the Institute of Mental Health, Dr Habeebul Rahman of Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Mr Ling Shao Tong of the SMU Peer Helpers, Ms Nicole Kay of the Tapestry Project, and Raffles Peer Helpers S Jivaganesh (18S06D) and Huang Huanyan (18A03A).
